Tornado In Laramie Wyoming Today
David De Pastina, who resides on Roger Canyon Road, sent this picture to the Laramie Boomerang of a tornado that developed late on May 18, 2023. Approximately 10 miles east/northeast of Laramie, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 11:36 a.m. with wind gusts of up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hail. Approximately 14 miles east of Laramie, at North Crow Campground, weather spotters confirmed the presence of a funnel cloud at 11:39 a.m., prompting a tornado warning that claimed it was travelling east at about 20 mph. Up until 12:15 p.m., the warning in that part of Albany County was in force.
Tornado In Douglas Wyoming Today
Tonight (June 23), just after 6 o'clock, a tornado is said to have made landfall near the North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM), 68 miles north of Douglas on WYO59.
According to the police, emergency services and law enforcement from Converse and Campbell counties, as well as Thunder Basin, Casper, Douglas, and Gillette, have all responded.
There have been reported injuries. According to early indications, buses may have been involved. At this point, it is unclear how much damage the tornado caused.
